Improving energy efficiency is one of the most important and cost effective ways of reducing CO2 emissions. For over 30 years, Ray Gluckman has carried out a wide range of projects related to energy efficiency. Some of these projects have been about refrigeration systems (see our Refrigeration Services web page). However, Ray also has a wide range of experience in the evaluation of heat using systems (boilers, dryers, furnaces, ovens, CHP etc.) and major electricity users (compressed air, fans, pumps, lighting etc.).
In the UK and other parts of the EU there will be a renewed focus on carrying out energy efficiency audits because of the EU Energy Energy Efficiency Directive, which requires all large organisations in the private sector to carry out and energy efficiency audit by the end of 2015.
In the UK, the EU Directive is being implemented via ESOS (the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme). We have in-depth understanding of the ESOS requirements and can help organisations design a cost effective work programme to comply with ESOS.
